You’ll be able to look back, reflect, and decide which areas of your wellness routine may need to be tweaked. This is also a great way to keep yourself accountable! </span></p>
<h3><b>Day Two: Up Your H2O</b></h3>

We say this a lot, but most of us are </span><a href="https://chicago.suntimes.com/2018/11/8/18455701/doctors-say-most-americans-are-dehydrated" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><b>chronically dehydrated</b></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">P.S. Even mild dehydration (a mere </span><a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4207053/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><b>1-2% water loss</b></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">) can impair brain function!</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Upping your water game will help with overall performance, energy levels, digestion, mood, and more — so get to sipping. Add an extra glass or two (or more, if you’re feeling ambitious) to your day, and continue for the next six days (and beyond). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aside from increasing your water intake, you can load up on <a href="https://fitonapp.com/nutrition/hydrating-foods/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>water-rich foods</strong></a>, drink hydrating beverages like coconut water and herbal teas, and even make a <strong><a href="https://fitonapp.com/nutrition/electrolyte-drinks/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DIY electrolyte drink</a></strong>.</span></p>
<h3><b>Day Three: Add a Green To Every Meal</b></h3>

Try to add some produce to at </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">least</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> one meal per day, more if you’re feeling ambitious, and continue this through day seven. </span></p>

<p><b>Option #1 (Slow cooker):</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Add everything to the slow cooker except the coconut milk. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until squash is completely tender. Add the coconut milk to the slow cooker. Use an immersion blender to blend to a smooth consistency. You could also use a regular blender and blend in batches. Taste and season with salt and pepper.</span></p>
<p><b>Option #2 (Stovetop):</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Heat a large soup pot over medium-high heat with a swirl of olive oil. Add the onions and cook for 6-8 minutes until tender. Add the garlic and cook for one minute. Add the butternut squash, carrot, apples, vegetable broth, salt, sage, nutmeg, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a simmer and cover. Cook for 35-40 minutes until the squash is tender. Add the coconut milk and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. It can also be blended in a regular blender.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our breath is one of the greatest indicators of stress, and it’s also one of the easiest ways to relieve it! Every hour or so, set reminders to come back to your body and notice how you’re breathing. Is it quick and shallow? (stress alert!) Or full and deep? If you’re stressed, allow yourself to take 5 minutes to focus on your breath: inhale deeply through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, then exhale out your mouth for 4 seconds. Repeat until you feel your breathing relax. And if you only have time for a few breaths, that’s great too. </span></p>
