Step #2: Add Your Juice Ingredients to a Blender

Add your fruits, veggies, and herbs to a high-speed blender with ½ cup of water. For easier blending, you may want to chop everything into 2-inch slices. Blend until smooth. Taste test and adjust ingredients as needed.

Note: fruits and veggies are very water-rich — ½ cup of water should be enough! That said if you find you need more water to get started, add ½ cup at a time. 

Step #3: Strain and Serve

Once you’ve achieved your desired taste and consistency, it’s time to strain your blend into a smooth juice! Using a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer, strain your mixture over a large bowl or jar and remove the juice pulp. If using a nut milk bag, use your hands to fully squeeze any remaining liquid through the bag. Discard the pulp or upcycle it for another recipe! 

Serve and enjoy immediately or pour your fresh juice into an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. 

What if I Want to Make a Wellness Shot Instead of a Juice?

Simple! Wellness shots are simply concentrated versions of cold-pressed juice. They often contain more superfoods (ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and spirulina) in place of water-rich nutrients (like celery and cucumber).
