Breakfast can be one of the trickiest meals of the day, as many of us simply don’t have tons of extra time during the morning rush. But, if you find yourself starving and reaching for a sugary snack around 10 AM, enjoying a nourishing breakfast may be exactly what you need to get through until lunch. We’re sharing eight of our go-to no-cook breakfast recipes that will make breakfast a total breeze no matter how much time you have — simply grab and go (seriously).

8 No-Cook Breakfast Recipes That You Can Take on the Go   

Here are eight no-cook breakfast recipes you’ll actually wake up excited to eat. 

#1 Chunky Monkey Overnight Oats

Peanut butter and chocolate for breakfast? Sign us up — this chunky monkey overnight oat recipe makes enjoying this perfect combo healthy and equally delicious.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup rolled oats 
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs 
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter 
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds 
  • Drizzle of pure maple syrup

Add the oats, almond milk, and chia seeds to a mason-style jar container and mix well. Set in the fridge overnight. 

In the morning before serving, top with cacao nibs, peanut butter, flaxseeds, and pure maple syrup.

#2 Cinnamon Roll Smoothie

This no-cook breakfast makes it possible to enjoy all the flavors of a traditional cinnamon roll without the added sugar. Toss all ingredients into the blender, blend, and go!

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. 

Sip and enjoy! 

#3 Decadent Dark Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

If you have a bit more time to sit down and enjoy breakfast, a smoothie bowl is another delicious and nourishing breakfast treat that requires zero cook time. This dark chocolate smoothie bowl taste just like dessert.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk 
  • For topping: fresh fruit of choice, granola, flaxseeds 

Add the banana, cacao powder, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and milk to a blender and blend until it turns into a soft-serve ice-cream like consistency. 

Top with toppings of choice and enjoy! 

#4 Vanilla Cinnamon Chia Pudding

This no-cook breakfast packs in a ton of nutritional value and is full of fiber to help keep you feeling full and nourished, ready to power through your day. You can pack it and take it on the go — it also makes a delicious snack to keep you full between meals.  

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup 
  • For topping: fresh fruit of choice, granola, raw cacao nibs, almond butter 

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and whisk well. Pour into two individual mason-style jars and set in the fridge for 2-3 hours, or overnight. 

Before serving, top with desired toppings and enjoy!

#5 Tropical Green Smoothie

Smoothies are always a great no-cook breakfast that also requires very little prep and cleanup time (yes, please!) This smoothie is a great way to start your day with a healthy dose of greens — P.S. you won’t even detect the spinach, making it an easy way to squeeze more veggies into your diet.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 

Enjoy as a simple on the go breakfast. 

#6 Strawberries & Cream Yogurt Bowl

If mornings are a mad rush for you, try prepping this no-cook breakfast bowl the night before. You can just grab it from the fridge in the morning for a tasty and filling way to start your day.

Heads up — if you need this dairy-free, swap out the dairy-yogurt for your favorite dairy-free option like coconut or almond-based yogurt. 

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt 
  • ¼ cup granola 
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds 
  • 1 tbsp almond butter 
  • 1 tbsp raw honey 

Add the yogurt to a serving bowl and top with granola, strawberries, chia seeds, and almond butter. 

Drizzle with raw honey and enjoy! 

#7 Avocado Toast

Ok, so technically this requires one small “cooking step,” but if you have a few minutes to spare, pop some bread in the toaster and slab on some avocado and a sprinkle of hemp seeds for a nourishing breakfast you can have ready in just five minutes.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of gluten-free bread
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • Lemon juice
  • Pinch of sea salt & pepper

Start by toasting the bread. Mash the avocado and add to the toast.

Sprinkle with hemp seeds and drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.

#8 Granola & Cacao Nib Breakfast Banana Split

Dessert for breakfast? Yep, and this recipe is proof that healthy eating can absolutely be delicious. It only takes a few minutes to prep, and it may just make breakfast your favorite meal of the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter 
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs 
  • ¼ cup granola 
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds 

Start by slicing the banana in half lengthwise and top each half with almond butter, cacao nibs, granola, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds.
