Thanks to yummy mocktails, it’s totally possible to celebrate without feeling out of place or like you’re missing out. In fact, there are so many benefits to going alcohol-free. You’ll save on calories, support your health goals, benefit your brain, improve your sleep, and even sip your way to glowing skin! No wonder alcohol-free beverages are trending!

While it’s easy to whip up a mocktail from scratch, so many brands are jumping on board to provide healthy alcohol-free alternatives that are oh so delicious. From mixers and botanical-boosted bubbly to ready-to-drink options, we’re sharing all the must-have booze-free sips. 

The 10 Best Alcohol-Free Beverages 

#1 Lemon-Rose Herbal Summer Sangria

This wine-free summer sangria is slightly sweet, fruity, and full of flavor. Made with fresh-pressed juice, a splash of seltzer, and fresh fruit of choice. Skip the wine and use a herbal tonic like Sunwink or your favorite kombucha for a nutrient-dense boost! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Sunwink Lemon Rose Uplift (OR fruit-flavored herbal tonic/kombucha of choice)*
  • 4 oz freshly squeezed orange juice (or a store-bought pressed juice such as Trader Joe’s cold-pressed Red Juice or Pressed Juicery Roots 3 Juice)
  • 4 oz topo chico or sparkling water of choice 
  • 1 cup thinly sliced fresh fruit (we used orange, apple, lemon, and lime slices)
  • Fresh mint leaves, muddled
  • Raw honey or maple syrup, to taste (optional)

To serve (optional) 

  • Freshly sliced fruit
  • Fresh muddled mint
  • Sparkling water or Sunwink tonic

Directions:

Step #1: Slice fruit of choice into thin slices then add to the bottom of a pitcher along with fresh muddled mint 

Step #2: Add Sunwink Lemon Rose Uplift, seltzer, and freshly squeezed juice to the pitcher and stir to combine. Taste test, adding optional honey or maple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.

Step #3: Chill in the fridge for 1-3 hours, letting the flavors marinate and combine.

Step #4: Remove from the fridge and taste test, adding any additional fruit or sweetness as needed. 

Step #5: Serve over ice with optional fresh fruit and muddled mint. Top with additional sparkling water or Sunwink tonic. Enjoy!

#2 Yuzu Basil Bubbly

Who needs a cocktail when you can have this light and refreshing bubbly beverage? Infused with Yuzu fruit, an antioxidant-rich citrus (and trending 2022 food!), and sweetened with a drizzle of honey, this simple alcohol-free beverage will be on repeat all summer long! Boost your beverage with an optional wellness shot like Vive Organic’s Immunity boost for added flavor and health benefits!

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 fresh basil leaves 
  • 1 lemon, juiced 
  • 1 wellness shot, optional (we used Vive Organics Immunity Boost)
  • 2 tsp raw honey (or 3-4 drops stevia)
  • ¾ – 1 cup Sanzo Yuzu sparkling water (or seltzer of choice) 
  • Ice 

To garnish:

  • Fresh basil 
  • Lemon wedges 

Directions:

Step #1: Muddle fresh basil in a glass. Add lemon juice, raw honey, and optional wellness shot. Top with seltzer and stir until well combined. Serve with ice and any additional garnish of choice, such as fresh basil or lemon wedges.

#3 Tropical Pink Drink 

We blended up this tropical pink drink with Suja’s cold-pressed sparkling juice and a handful of nature’s sweetness. For a light and bubbly beverage, use less fruit (and keep it fresh) with more liquid to blend. For a frozen tropical treat, opt for frozen fruit and less liquid!

Serves: 2-3 

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cups coconut water 
  • ½ -1 cup Suja’s cold-pressed sparkling juice (or favorite cold-pressed juice or kombucha)
  • 1-2 cups berries of choice (fresh or frozen)
  • 1-2 cups frozen mixed tropical fruit (such as pineapple, mango, kiwi, and papaya)
  • 1 lime (or ½ lemon), freshly squeezed 

Directions:

Step #1: In a high-speed blender, blend coconut water, berries, citrus, and tropical fruit mix. For a lighter liquid beverage, use 2 cups of coconut water and opt for fresh fruit. For a frozen beverage, use 1 cup of coconut water and blend with 2 cups of frozen berries and tropical fruit. 

Step #2: To serve, pour desired amount of tropical mixture over ice. Top with Suja’s sparkling juice and optional garnishes of choice, such as fresh fruit. Option to omit sparkling beverage for a frozen drink or substitute for kombucha or seltzer of choice.

#4 Low-Sugar Pina Colada

*If you love Pina Coladas*… you’ll love this tropical mocktail. Made with a splash of pure pineapple juice, creamy coconut, and an optional wellness shot to boost those good-for-you nutrients. Trust us, you’ll want to mix this up ASAP! 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 cold-pressed wellness shot, optional (we used Kor Potent-C shot made with pineapple, sea buckthorn, and citrus)
  • 1 oz coconut cream*
  • ½ -1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • Seltzer water, to serve 
  • Ice, to serve

Directions:

Step #1: In a high-speed blender or drink mixer combine pineapple juice, lime juice, coconut cream, and optional sweetener and wellness shot. Blend or shake until well combined. Taste test and adjust ingredients as needed.

Step #2: To serve, pour over ice. Top with a splash of seltzer water and optional garnish such as fresh pineapple or lime. Enjoy!

*Note: for fresh coconut cream, refrigerate a can of full-fat coconut milk overnight. Without shaking the can, remove from the fridge and open. Scoop out the hardened top layer of coconut cream.

#5 Peachy Summer Spritzer

Simple ingredients for simple summer sipping. Made with fresh peaches, berries, and muddled mint, this peachy summer spritzer is sure to be a summer hit. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of non-alcoholic wine
  • 2 ripe peaches, chopped
  • 1 cup raspberries, muddled (or berries of choice)
  • Fresh mint, muddled 
  • Honey, to taste (optional)
  • Sparkling water or kombucha, to serve 

Directions:

Step #1: In a large pitcher, combine non-alcoholic wine, chopped peaches, and muddled berries. Chill for 4-6 hours or overnight 

Step #2: To serve, add muddled mint and ice to a glass. Pour peach mixture over ice with optional honey. Stir well to combine. Top with sparkling water or kombucha of choice. Enjoy!

#6 Spicy Paloma

Perfectly tart, sweet, and complete with a hint of spice. This spicy Paloma mocktail is low in sugar and made with real grapefruit, fresh lime, and a hint of jalapeno. A must-have edition on any summer menu!! 

Ingredients:  

  • 1 grapefruit, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1-3 tsp maple syrup or honey 
  • Sparkling water, to serve
  • Jalapeno, to serve (optional) 

Directions:

Step One: In a glass, combine the grapefruit juice, lime, and honey. Stir well.

Step Two: To serve, fill the glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Add jalapeno. Taste test and adjust ingredients as needed. Serve with fresh grapefruit and lime.

#7 Pineapple Turmeric Sunrise 

Like a tequila sunrise, but hold the tequila. Instead, this booze-free beverage features gut-friendly prebiotics and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as pineapple, turmeric, and ginger. Plus, it’s easy to modify based on any taste preferences or dietary needs! 

Serves: 1-2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
  • 1 shot fresh ginger juice
  • 1 shot fresh turmeric juice 
  • Raw honey, to taste (optional)
  • ½ cup coconut water 
  • Non-alcoholic ginger beer, kombucha, or sparkling water, to serve (we used Mayawell Pineapple Mango Seltzer)

Directions:

Step #1: In a high-speed blender, combine the pineapple, ginger, turmeric, coconut water, and optional raw honey. Blend until smooth. Option to strain for a smooth liquid base. Option to sub a store-bought shot for ginger and turmeric juice or omit.

Step #2: To serve, pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice, filling halfway. Top with non-alcoholic ginger beer, kombucha, or seltzer of choice. Stir well to combine. Top with any additional garnish such as fresh fruit. Enjoy!

#8 Raspberry Lemonade 

Lemonade is the ultimate summer drink, but it’s often loaded with sugar. The good news? This booze-free beverage is sweetened with all-natural ingredients like tart raspberries and a hint of raw honey. For a paleo-friendly option, swap honey for stevia!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fresh raspberries, muddled 
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1-2 tsp honey (or stevia)
  • sparkling water, to serve (or kombucha of choice)

Directions:

Step #1: Muddle raspberries in a glass, then add lemon juice and honey. Stir until well combined.

Step #2: Add ice to serve and top with sparkling water or kombucha. Garnish with optional toppings such as fresh raspberries and lemon wedges. 

#9 Sparkling Ginger Limeade 

This fizzy limeade is the perfect way to beat the heat. Light, refreshing, and loaded with anti-inflammatory ginger for a healthy kick. Serve with mint and a low-sugar tonic like Rebbl for ultra-refreshing flavor!

Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:

  • 2-4 tbsp raw honey, to taste 
  • 4 cups water 
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger juice (optional) 
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (or lemon)
  • Sparkling water, herbal tonic, or kombucha of choice, to serve (we used Rebbl’s Ginger Lime sparkling tonic)
  • Muddled mint (optional, to serve)

Directions:

Step #1: Make the limeade by combining the honey, water, ginger, and lime in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. Taste test and adjust ingredients as needed. 

Step #2: To serve, add ice to a glass. Pour limeade mixture until ½ – ¾ way full. Top with sparkling water or tonic of choice (we used Rebbl’s Ginger Lime sparkling tonic). Option to top with muddled mint or fresh lime wedges. Serve and enjoy!

#10 Berry & Lime Mojito 

We’re taking full advantage of berry season! And, in case you didn’t know, berries + mint + lime = heaven. This mocktail is low in sugar, full of nutrient-rich antioxidants, and made with 5 main ingredients.  

Ingredients: 

  • ¼ cup fresh blueberries
  • ¼ cup fresh strawberries
  • 6-8 mint leaves, muddled
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Honey, to taste 
  • sparkling water or kombucha, to serve (we used Healthade’s Ginger Pop for a low-sugar gut-friendly option)

Directions:

Step #1: Using the back of a spoon, muddle berries and mint in a glass

Step #2: Add the lime and optional sweetener. Stir well to combine. 

Step #3: To serve, add ice and top with kombucha, seltzer, or non-alcoholic wine of choice. Garnish with any toppings such as fresh mint or berries. Serve and enjoy!
